01194-S Nitrile examination gloves, S, blue
We often recommend white and blue nitrile examination gloves for the food industry, hospitals, close-contact services, industry, other medicine, education, government authorities and occupational safety. For the food industry, we particularly recommend blue, food-grade nitrile examination gloves, as complete nitrile examination gloves or sections of nitrile examination gloves can be found quickly and without much effort.
The properties of nitrile disposable gloves
Nitrile disposable gloves are highly resistant to oils and fats, and they also offer reliable protection against solvents, chemicals, germs and viruses. The material's special structure makes it very supple. It fits the wearer's hand comfortably. Since synthetic rubber is completely free of allergenic proteins, it is a hypo-allergenic alternative to natural latex. This is why nitrile gloves are often used in clinics and health care facilities, care homes for the elderly and infirm, and in doctors' or dentists' surgeries. And the positive properties of nitrile also come into play in food production and processing, minor cleaning jobs, the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and in hairdressing, cosmetics and tattoo studios.Nitrile examination gloves in material thickness: "medium thickness"
The material is somewhat thicker - this single-use product is between 0.09 mm and 0.16 mm thick (medium thickness), making it less likely to puncture than a thin or ultra-thin disposable glove or finger cot. This disposable glove/finger cot is much sturdier and longer-lasting than thinner items made of this material.Quality of the nitrile gloves
These nitrile exam gloves from the Med-Comfort brand are "premium" quality. AMPri only sells products of either a very high basic standard of quality, a more deluxe "classic" quality or top-notch "premium" quality. The powder-free, non-sterile, disposable glove is ambidextrous (can be used on the left or the right hand) and has extra length. These single-use gloves are fully textured. Fully textured nitrile gloves have first-rate slip-proof properties and are an ideal choice if you need to work with slippery instruments or materials. This product features the special attribute "extra grip". The Nitrile gloves are also suitable for protecting against hazards that can lead to extremely serious consequences, such as death or irreversible damage to health. Consequently, they are rated as category III PPE as defined by the EU PPE Regulation. In addition, the nitrile exam gloves have a CE marking that labels them as a class I medical device. This category mainly comprises products that have no impact on the human body and pose minimal risk. The nitrile examination gloves are non-sterile; consequently, they are not designated for use in sterile applications. The AQL value represents the quality standard of a batch or lot (acceptable quality limit). For medical disposable gloves, this value for tightness may be a maximum of 1.5, whereby the following generally applies: the lower the AQL value, the more convincing the production. These nitrile disposable gloves meet the requirements with an AQL value of 1.5.We recommend nitrile gloves for these applications
Nitrile gloves are especially appropriate for food containing alcohol, greasy food, acidic food, dry food and watery food and, consequently, are approved for food handling in general. The nitrile disposable gloves offer protection from microorganisms and are consequently impervious to viruses, bacteria and fungi. Chemical protection type B signifies that the nitrile exam gloves offer protection against penetration in accordance with the crucial EN 374 standard. This defines the minimum penetration time for a certain number of chemicals from a list of defined test chemicals. Type A = 6 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type B = 3 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type C = 1 test chemical/10 minutes. The gloves are also airtight and watertight. Consequently, we recommend nitrile gloves for the following sectors: the food industry, hospitals, close-contact services, industry, other medicine, education, government authorities and occupational safety. If you have any questions about the possible applications of these nitrile gloves or are unsure if they are right for your needs, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via the contact form!- In terms of elasticity and tear resistance, nitrile is on a par with natural latex. However, nitrile scores additional points with its "material memory" - it can seamlessly adapt to the contours of each individual hand.
- It provides a strong grip and is more puncture-resistant than other materials, making it safer.
- Nitrile's resistance to chemicals allows for a wide range of uses. It is also an excellent alternative to latex for people with allergies as nitrile is protein-free.
