The properties of nitrile disposable gloves
Nitrile is a synthetic material that has a lot of the same beneficial properties as natural latex, but without the components that trigger allergies. This makes nitrile exam gloves an ideal all-round alternative to latex. Since single-use gloves made of this material also offer strong resistance to oils, greases and solvents and reliably protect against viruses and germs, they can be used as part of the personal protective equipment in many fields and industries, including clinics and health care facilities, nursing homes for the elderly and infirm, and doctors' or dentists' surgeries, as well as in food production and processing, minor cleaning jobs, the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and in hairdressing, cosmetics and tattoo studios.Nitrile examination gloves in material thickness: "thin"
Thanks to the thin material (0.05 mm to a maximum of 0.09 mm thick), this product offers good tactile sensitivity, and the breakthrough time is higher than in an ultra-thin single-use glove or finger cot of the same material. This protective product is also more durable and harder-wearing than thinner disposables.Quality of the nitrile examination gloves
These nitrile exam gloves from the Eco-Plus brand are "classic" quality. AMPri only sells products of either a very consistent basic standard of quality, a more deluxe "classic" quality or impressive "premium" quality. The powder-free, non-sterile, disposable glove is ambidextrous (can be used on the left or the right hand). It does not have additional length, which means it does not offer splash protection. These disposable gloves are fingertip textured. Fingertip textured nitrile gloves have exceptional slip-proof properties and are ideal when working with slippery tools or materials. As category III personal protective equipment in line with the PPE Regulation ((EU) 2016/425), they protect against health risks that are permanent or potentially fatal. In addition, the nitrile exam gloves have a CE marking labelling them as a class I medical device. This classification mainly comprises products that have no impact on the human body and pose very little risk. These nitrile gloves are only designated for non-sterile applications. The production quality can be determined by the AQL value, i.e. the acceptable quality level. For disposable medical gloves, the AQL is 1.5 or less, which is exactly what these nitrile gloves meet. Our suggestions for how nitrile gloves should be used
These nitrile examination gloves are suitable for handling food. They are particularly intended for food containing alcohol, greasy food, acidic food, dry food and watery food. The nitrile examination gloves provide protection from microorganisms and are therefore resistant to viruses, bacteria and fungi. Chemical protection type B signifies that the nitrile gloves provide protection from penetration in accordance with the crucial EN 374 standard. This defines the minimum penetration time for a certain number of chemicals from a list of particular test chemicals. Type A = 6 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type B = 3 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type C = 1 test chemical/10 minutes. The gloves are also airtight and watertight. Consequently, we recommend nitrile disposable gloves for the following sectors: occupational safety, government authorities, education, other medicine, the food industry, close-contact services, industry and hospitals. If you have any questions about the potential uses of these nitrile disposable gloves or are not sure if they are right for your needs, please feel free to contact us via the contact form!- Superior stretch: nitrile can be stretched to up to 500% of its base dimensions. Thanks to its "material memory", it conforms to the contours of each unique hand.
- Nitrile gloves are stronger than disposable gloves made of different materials, so they are also safer. Additionally, they offer an ideal grip.
- Nitrile's chemical resistance facilitates a wide spectrum of uses. It is also the ideal alternative to latex for people with allergies as nitrile is protein-free.
