The properties of nitrile disposable gloves
Nitrile is an artificial material that has a lot of the same beneficial properties as natural latex, but without the ingredients that cause allergies. This makes nitrile examination gloves an excellent all-round alternative to latex. Since single-use gloves made of this material also offer strong resistance to oils, greases and solvents and dependably protect against viruses and germs, they can be used as part of the personal protective equipment in many fields and industries, including clinics and health care facilities, care homes for the elderly and infirm, and doctors' or dentists' surgeries, as well as in food production and processing, minor cleaning jobs, the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and in hairdressing, cosmetics and tattoo studios.Nitrile exam gloves in material thickness: "thin"
Thanks to the thin material (0.05 mm to a maximum of 0.09 mm thick), this product offers good tactile sensitivity, and the breakthrough time is higher than in an ultra-thin single-use glove or finger cot of similar material. This skin-protection product is also more durable and longer-lasting than thinner single-use products.Quality of the nitrile gloves
These nitrile disposable gloves from the Style by Med-Comfort brand are of "premium" quality. AMPri only sells products of either a very consistent basic standard of quality, a more upscale "classic" quality or impressive "premium" quality. The powder-free, non-sterile, disposable glove is ambidextrous (can be worn on the left or the right hand). It is not extra-long, which means it does not offer splash protection. These disposable gloves are fingertip textured. Fingertip textured nitrile gloves have excellent slip-proof properties and are an ideal choice if you need to work with slippery instruments or materials. As category III personal protective equipment as defined by the PPE Regulation ((EU) 2016/425), they keep the user safe from health risks that are permanent or potentially fatal. In addition, the nitrile examination gloves have a CE marking indicating that they are a class I medical device. This classification mainly includes products that have no impact on the human body and pose very little risk. These nitrile disposable gloves are only designated for non-sterile applications. The AQL value represents the quality standard of a batch or lot (acceptable quality limit). For medical disposable gloves, this value for tightness may be a maximum of 1.5, whereby the following generally applies: the lower the AQL value, the more convincing the production. These nitrile exam gloves meet the requirements with an AQL value of 1.5.Our recommendations for how nitrile exam gloves should be used
These nitrile disposable gloves are suitable for handling food. They are especially intended for greasy food, acidic food, dry food and watery food. The nitrile exam gloves offer protection from microorganisms and are consequently resistant to viruses, bacteria and fungi. Chemical protection type B indicates that the nitrile exam gloves provide protection from penetration in accordance with the important EN 374 standard. This defines the minimum penetration time for a certain number of chemicals from a list of particular test chemicals. Type A = 6 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type B = 3 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type C = 1 test chemical/10 minutes. The gloves are also airtight and watertight. We therefore recommend nitrile exam gloves for these sectors: occupational safety, education, hospitals, the food industry, industry, close-contact services, other medicine and government authorities. If you have any questions about the possible uses of these nitrile exam gloves or are unsure if they are the right choice for you, please feel free to get in touch with us via the contact form!- Exceptional elasticity: nitrile can be stretched to up to 500% of its base measurements. Thanks to its "material memory", it adapts to the shape of each individual hand.
- Nitrile gloves are more durable than disposable gloves made of other materials, which means they are also safer. Additionally, they provide an ideal grip.
- Nitrile's chemical resistance facilitates a wide spectrum of uses. It is also the perfect alternative to latex for allergy sufferers because nitrile is protein-free.
