01190-S Nitrile exam gloves, S, white
We often recommend white and blue nitrile gloves for occupational safety, government authorities, education, other medicine, industry, close-contact services, hospitals and the food industry. For the food industry, we particularly recommend blue, food-grade nitrile gloves, as whole nitrile gloves or sections of nitrile gloves can be found quickly and easily.
The properties of nitrile disposable gloves
Nitrile examination gloves fit like a second skin and offer a great deal of flexibility during use. Nitrile is a synthetic rubber material (elastic polymers). Nitrile is extremely flexible and durable. Disposable gloves made of nitrile are impermeable, so they do not develop holes or become permeable when overstretched. Single-use nitrile gloves offer powerful resistance to oils, greases and solvents and dependably protect against viruses and germs, meaning they can be used as part of personal protective equipment in numerous fields and industries, such as clinics and healthcare facilities, care facilities for the elderly and infirm, and doctors' or dentists' surgeries, as well as in food production and processing, minor cleaning jobs, the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and in hairdressing, cosmetics and tattoo studios.Nitrile gloves in material thickness: "medium thickness"
The material is of medium thickness, measuring in at between 0.09 mm and 0.16 mm. This makes it more resistant to punctures than a thin or ultra-thin single-use glove or finger cot of similar material. This single-use glove/finger cot is a great deal stronger and harder-wearing than thinner items composed of the same material.Quality of the nitrile examination gloves
These nitrile exam gloves from the Med-Comfort brand are "premium" quality. AMPri exclusively sells products of either a very high basic standard of quality, a more deluxe "classic" quality or top-notch "premium" quality. The powder-free, non-sterile, disposable glove is ambidextrous (can be worn on either hand). It has no extra length, which means it does not offer splash protection. The nitrile gloves gloves are fully textured, so they offer a significantly better grip than other non-textured or partially textured disposable gloves. "Extra grip" is a special characteristic of these nitrile disposable gloves. The Nitrile exam gloves are also designed to protect against hazards that can lead to very severe consequences, such as death or permanent damage to health. Consequently, they are classified as category III PPE as defined by the EU PPE Regulation. Nitrile exam gloves are categorised as class I medical devices. This class includes medical items or products that have no impact on the body and generally pose very little risk. The nitrile exam gloves are non-sterile; as a result, they are not designated for use in sterile applications. The AQL (acceptable quality limit) is the maximum allowed number of faulty (leaky) individual samples in a batch or lot (performance level/AQL). For disposable medical gloves, an AQL level for impermeability not to exceed 1.5 is stipulated by the EN 455-1 standard - which the Nitrile exam gloves fulfil precisely. Our recommendations for how nitrile gloves should be used
These nitrile gloves are appropriate for handling food. They are especially useful for food containing alcohol, greasy food, acidic food, dry food and watery food. The nitrile gloves provide protection from microorganisms and are therefore resistant to viruses, bacteria and fungi. Chemical protection type B indicates that the nitrile examination gloves provide protection from permeation according to the important EN 374 standard. It states the minimum penetration time for a specific number of chemicals from a list of specified test chemicals. Type A = 6 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type B = 3 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type C = 1 test chemical/10 minutes. The gloves are also airtight and watertight. We therefore recommend nitrile exam gloves for the following sectors: occupational safety, government authorities, education, other medicine, industry, close-contact services, hospitals and the food industry. If you have any questions about the potential applications of these nitrile exam gloves or are not sure if they are the right solution for your requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us via the contact form!- Nitrile is extremely supple; it can be stretched to more than 500% of its base dimensions. One particularly unique feature: nitrile boasts a sort of "material memory", so it adapts to the shape of the hand.
- Nitrile gloves are stronger than disposable gloves made of other materials and, consequently, they are safer. Additionally, they provide an optimal grip.
- In addition, nitrile provides strong chemical resistance. Because it is protein-free, nitrile is the ideal option for latex allergy sufferers.
