GREEN PRODUCTION
Logistics that excite ā nearly every product available and quickly at the recipient's location. Not only since today have sustainable and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes been high on our priority list. To be able to specifically label articles from our range that are produced in a particularly sustainable way, we have introduced the "Green Production" environmental seal. This seal is exclusively awarded to products that come from production facilities participating in our environmental assessment system. Our suppliers undergo a continuously monitored and evaluated improvement process (CIP).
EVALUATION CRITERIA OF THE SEAL
What evaluation criteria must a production facility meet in order to be awarded the "Green Production" environmental seal? We are not interested in one-time savings of x%, but in continuous actions that a manufacturing facility takes to have a positive impact on the environmental balance. This can include topics such as "water consumption", "energy consumption", or "packaging material", which are considered individually. Always important is a positive impact on the environmental balance and a special focus on continuously engaging with the important issue of the environment. To be able to verify this, we have production facilities send us a semi-annual environmental improvement report, evaluate it, and verify the information in the next on-site audit (at least once a year). The production facilities must achieve an environmental score defined by AMPri to qualify for the "Green Production" environmental seal.
