The properties of nitrile disposable gloves
Nitrile exam gloves fit like a second skin and offer a great deal of elasticity during use. Nitrile is a synthetic rubber material (elastic polymers). Nitrile is extremely flexible and durable. Disposable gloves made of nitrile are impermeable, so they do not develop holes or become porous when overstretched. Single-use nitrile gloves offer high resistance to oils, greases and solvents and reliably protect against viruses and germs, so they can be used as part of personal protective equipment in a wide range of fields and industries, such as clinics and healthcare facilities, care homes for the elderly and infirm, and doctors' or dentists' surgeries, as well as in food production and processing, minor cleaning jobs, the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and in hairdressing, cosmetics and tattoo studios.Nitrile gloves in material thickness: "medium thickness"
With a material thickness between 0.09 mm and 0.16 mm, a finger cot or single-use glove of medium thickness is more puncture-resistant than a thin or ultra-thin disposable glove or finger cot of identical material. This disposable glove/finger cot is significantly stronger and longer-lasting than thinner products composed of this material.Quality of the nitrile exam gloves
These nitrile exam gloves from the Med-Comfort brand are "premium" quality. AMPri exclusively sells products of either a very reliable basic standard of quality, a more deluxe "classic" quality or top-notch "premium" quality. The powder-free, non-sterile, single-use glove is ambidextrous (can be worn on the left or the right hand). It has no extra length, which means it does not provide splash protection. These disposable gloves are fingertip textured. Fingertip textured nitrile gloves have first-rate non-slip properties and are an ideal choice if you need to work with slippery tools or materials. As category III personal protective equipment in accordance with the PPE Regulation ((EU) 2016/425), they protect the user from health hazards that are permanent or can lead to death. Medical devices are classified according to the potential risk they pose to the patient. Class I encompasses items that pose little or no risk. And exactly those criteria are fulfilled by these nitrile disposable gloves. The nitrile gloves are non-sterile; as a result, they are not approved for sterile applications. The production quality can be determined by the AQL value, i.e. the acceptable quality level. For disposable medical gloves, the AQL is 1.5 or less, which is exactly what these nitrile examination gloves meet.We recommend nitrile gloves for these applications
These nitrile exam gloves are suitable for handling food. They are especially useful for food containing alcohol, greasy food, acidic food, dry food and watery food. The nitrile gloves offer protection from microorganisms and are therefore resistant to viruses, bacteria and fungi. Chemical protection type B indicates that the nitrile disposable gloves provide protection from permeation as defined by the crucial EN 374 standard. It defines the minimum penetration time for a certain number of chemicals from a list of defined test chemicals. Type A = 6 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type B = 3 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type C = 1 test chemical/10 minutes. The gloves are also airtight and waterproof. We therefore recommend nitrile gloves for these sectors: occupational safety, government authorities, education, other medicine, industry, close-contact services, hospitals and the food industry. If you have any questions about the potential applications of these nitrile gloves or are wondering if they are right for your needs, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via the contact form!- Nitrile is very supple; it can be stretched to over 500% of its base dimensions. One particularly impressive feature: nitrile boasts a sort of "material memory", meaning that it adapts to the shape of the hand.
- Nitrile examination gloves are stronger than disposable gloves made of other materials and are therefore safer. Additionally, they offer an optimal grip.
- In addition, nitrile offers good chemical resistance. Because it is protein-free, nitrile is the ideal option for people who are allergic to latex.
