The properties of nitrile disposable gloves
Nitrile is an artificial material that has many of the same useful properties as natural latex, but without the components that trigger allergies. This makes nitrile disposable gloves the perfect all-round alternative to latex. Since single-use gloves made of this material also offer high resistance to oils, greases and solvents and dependably protect against viruses and germs, they can be used as part of the personal protective equipment in a wide range of fields and industries, including clinics and health care facilities, care homes for the elderly and infirm, and doctors' or dentists' surgeries, as well as in food production and processing, minor cleaning jobs, the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and in hairdressing, cosmetics and tattoo studios.Nitrile examination gloves in material thickness: "thin"
Thanks to the thin material (0.05 mm to a maximum of 0.09 mm thick), this product boasts good tactile sensitivity, and the breakthrough time is longer than in an ultra-thin single-use glove or finger cot of similar material. This skin-protection product is also more durable and harder-wearing than thinner single-use products.Quality of the nitrile gloves
These nitrile disposable gloves from the Puracomfort brand are of "basic" quality. AMPri only offers products of either a very consistent basic standard of quality, a more upscale "classic" quality or top-notch "premium" quality. The powder-free, non-sterile, disposable glove is ambidextrous (can be worn on the left or the right hand). It does not have additional length, which means it does not offer splash protection. These disposable gloves are fingertip textured. Fingertip textured nitrile exam gloves have exceptional non-slip properties and are ideal when working with slippery tools or materials. The Nitrile examination gloves deliver real added value in the sense that they protect against potentially fatal hazards or irreversible adverse health effects, as they fulfil the definition of category III personal protective equipment (PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425). Among other things, they prevent harmful substances and compounds from coming into contact with the skin and provide protection against cuts. Nitrile exam gloves are categorised as class I medical devices. This class comprises products that have no impact on the body and ordinarily pose minimal risk. These nitrile disposable gloves are only suitable for non-sterile applications. The AQL value represents the quality standard of a batch or lot (acceptable quality limit). For medical disposable gloves, this value for tightness may be a maximum of 1.5, whereby the following generally applies: the lower the AQL value, the more convincing the production. These nitrile examination gloves meet the requirements with an AQL value of 1.5.Our recommendations for how nitrile gloves should be used
Nitrile disposable gloves are particularly suitable for food containing alcohol, greasy food, acidic food, dry food and watery food and, consequently, are approved for food handling in general. Protection from microorganisms is a primary feature of these single-use gloves. The nitrile examination gloves keep the user safe from viruses, bacteria and fungi. The nitrile disposable gloves provide chemical protection (chemical protection type B) against penetration in accordance with the EN 374 standard. EN 374 sets the minimum penetration time for a defined period of time and for a particular number of chemicals from a list of specified test chemicals. Type A = 6 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type B = 3 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type C = 1 test chemical/10 minutes. In addition, the nitrile disposable gloves are airtight and watertight. We therefore recommend nitrile gloves for these sectors: occupational safety, government authorities, education, other medicine, industry, close-contact services, hospitals and the food industry. If you have any questions about the possible uses of these nitrile gloves or are not sure if they are right for your needs, please feel free to contact us via the contact form!- Exceptional elasticity: nitrile can be stretched to up to 500% of its base dimensions. Thanks to its "material memory", it adapts to the shape of each individual hand.
- Nitrile exam gloves are stronger than disposable gloves made of different materials, so they are also safer. Additionally, they offer a strong grip.
- In addition, nitrile provides good chemical resistance. Because it is protein-free, nitrile is the ideal alternative for latex allergy sufferers.
