The properties of TPE disposable gloves
TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) has a silicone-like quality. The properties of the material make it as gentle and comfortable as a second skin; it is free from softeners, silicone and latex. The latex gloves are supple, offer good tactile sensitivity and have a silky smooth surface, which is perfect for jobs in the care industry. TPE gloves gloves are also a strong choice for use in cosmetic studios. Other areas of application include food processing and catering. The TPE disposable gloves are packed in sustainable bulk packages of 200 to minimise the use of cardboard and reduce packaging waste.
TPE disposable gloves in material thickness: "ultra thin"
Thanks to the ultra-thin material of no more than 0.05 mm in thickness, these disposable gloves offer impressive tactile sensitivity and are feather-light on the skin.Quality of the TPE protective gloves
These tPE gloves from the Basic-Plus brand are "basic" quality. AMPri only offers products of either a very high basic standard of quality, a more deluxe "classic" quality or top-notch "premium" quality. The powder-free, non-sterile, single-use glove is ambidextrous (can be used on either hand). It is not extra-long, which means it does not provide splash protection. Category I for personal protective equipment (as defined by the EU PPE Regulation) only includes work equipment that protects against minor health risks. These tPE disposable gloves meet this definition by protecting the user's skin from mildly caustic cleaning solutions, for example. The tPE disposable gloves are non-sterile; as a result, they are not suitable for sterile applications. We recommend tPE protective gloves for these applications
TPE disposable gloves are particularly appropriate for food containing alcohol, greasy food, acidic food, dry food and watery food and, consequently, are intended for food handling in general. Consequently, we recommend tPE gloves for these sectors: education, government authorities and the food industry. If you have any questions about the possible applications of these tPE gloves or are not sure if they are the right choice for you, please feel free to reach out to us via the contact form!TPE protective gloves: The benefits of TPE
- TPE is thin, light, unscented and UV-resistant, making it a first-rate material for disposable gloves. What's more, it does not contain plasticisers (phthalates), silicone or latex additives.
- Additionally, it is free from allergenic proteins, and it is therefore suitable for people with allergies.
- Regarding price price, the material is a low-cost substitute for vinyl.
The disadvantages of TPE as a hand protection material
- Thermoplastic ethylene (TPE) cannot be used for handling chemicals.
- Consequently, the potential uses are limited.
