Why is the right size so important for disposable gloves?

Disposable gloves that are too tight can be very uncomfortable on the hands, while disposable gloves that are too large worsen the sense of touch and thus also hinder work.

Correct determination of the size of the PPE disposable glove

PPE disposable gloves are specified in sizes 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.

To determine the correct size of your disposable gloves, all you need is a flexible measuring tape and the illustration below. The correct size of your disposable gloves is important so that you can reliably carry out precise work with the disposable gloves over a longer period of time. First measure the circumference of your hand at the widest point with a tape measure. This is usually at about the level of the knuckles. The tape measure should rest on the skin, but not press against the hand or cut into the skin.

081204-8 Cold protection glove, Classic, M, black

The cold protection gloves from SolidSafety in "Classic" quality make sure that you maintain your fine motor skills, even in frigid temperatures. The use of nylon/HPT/Acrylic wool creates gloves that are particularly supple. Consequently, they conform perfectly to the individual contours of the wearer's hand, guaranteeing high tactile sensitivity and also allowing the wearer to complete tasks requiring fine motor skills. With their black colouring, the gloves are discreet enough to use anywhere. The coating makes the ankles exceptionally hard-wearing and scuff-resistant. Rapidly put on and take off the cold protection gloves thanks to the useful knitted cuff. In abrasion-resistance tests, the protective gloves received a classification of level 3 (scale from 0 to 4) in accordance with DIN , meaning that they are considered highly abrasion-resistant. The reusable work safety gloves achieved a rating of 3 in tear-resistance testing in line with the parameters of DIN . The testing scale goes from 0 to 4; to earn a rating of 1, the gloves needs to be able to withstand a tensile force of 10 Newtons or more. This product has received a rating of 1 in puncture-resistance tests in line with DIN , which indicates a lower puncture resistance. During the testing process, a nail is pressed onto the sample glove at varying levels of force. Gloves with a rating of 0 have to be able to resist a force of 0 to 20 Newtons; for a rating of 1, that number rises to 20 to 60 Newtons.
