Why is the right size so important for disposable gloves?

Disposable gloves that are too tight can be very uncomfortable on the hands, while disposable gloves that are too large worsen the sense of touch and thus also hinder work.

PPE disposable gloves are specified in sizes 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12.

To determine the correct size of your disposable gloves, all you need is a flexible measuring tape and the illustration below. The correct size of your disposable gloves is important so that you can reliably carry out precise work with the disposable gloves over a longer period of time. First measure the circumference of your hand at the widest point with a tape measure. This is usually at about the level of the knuckles. The tape measure should rest on the skin, but not press against the hand or cut into the skin.

Whether you are working with dry, acidic or watery foodstuffs, the food work gloves from SolidSafety in "Classic" are ideal for industrial kitchens and are specially adapted to the needs of the catering industry. The use of cotton/polyester as a material ensures that the gloves will be comfortable to wear. Cotton is soft and gentle on the skin, breathable and absorbs perspiration. With their yellow colour, the gloves have a rather eye-catching design and are always clearly visible. The reusable work safety gloves, 'Food' industrial safety gloves, and gloves are suitable for handling the following foods: dry, acidic and watery foods. The coating consists completely of . The useful cuff (with piping closure) can be individually adapted to fit the wrist with ease, guaranteeing a comfortable fit. In abrasion-resistance tests, the protective gloves received a rating of level 0 (scale from 0 to 4). To test the abrasion resistance, the test sample is pressed onto a rotating plate covered with sandpaper. Gloves that can sustain up to 100 revolutions are classified as level 0; test samples that make it through up to 500 revolutions are ranked as level 1. In terms of tear resistance, the gloves earned a rating of 1 (scale of 0 to 4). For a rating of 1, the gloves have to withstand a tensile force of 10 Newtons or more during the testing process. The protective gloves were granted a level 0 in puncture-resistance testing. These tests involve a nail being pressed onto the sample glove. To earn a level 0 rating, the product has to resist a force of 0 to 20 Newtons; for a rating of 1, it must withstand 20 to 60 Newtons of applied force.
