The properties of latex single-use gloves
Latex is obtained from rubber trees, making it the only natural material used in manufacturing disposable gloves. The latex single-use gloves shine with excellent characteristics that promise comfortable wear. For this reason, latex cannot yet be fully replaced, despite extensive research into alternative materials. Latex gloves are mainly found in clinics and health care facilities, doctors' or dentists' surgeries and nursing homes, as well as in food production and processing (to a lesser extent, as cross-contamination can occur; nitrile is preferable here). Latex is an inexpensive alternative to vinyl or nitrile.Quality of the latex disposable gloves
At AMPri, you can be sure that all our items are of reliably high quality. Whether you choose our very consistent Basic quality, better Classic quality or Premium quality that meets the highest standards: You can be confident that all our products will live up to your expectations. These latex single-use gloves are of premium quality. The unpowdered, non-sterile latex single-use gloves are ambidextrous. These gloves are fully textured. Fully textured latex gloves have exceptional non-slip properties and are an ideal choice if you need to work with slippery tools or materials. The latex single-use gloves features the special characteristic "extra grippy". The latex disposable gloves are labelled as Md class i (medical product class). We recommend latex disposable gloves for the following applications
These latex disposable gloves are only suitable for non-sterile use. The latex protective gloves provide chemical protection (chemical predection type b) as defined by the EN 374 standard. According to EN 374, the minimum penetration time must not be undercut for a certain period of time and for a particular number of chemicals from a list of defined test chemicals. Type A = 6 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type B = 3 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type C = 1 test chemical/10 minutes. Additionally, the latex protective gloves are airtight and waterproof. Protection from microorganisms is a primary feature of these single-use gloves. The latex single-use gloves protect the wearer against viruses, bacteria and fungi. The latex gloves are especially suitable for alcoholic, acidic, dry, and watery foods and are thus fundamentally suitable for food. We therefore recommend latex protective gloves for these sectors: authority, education, dental, industry, body-related services, hospital, food industry, and other medicine. If you have any questions about the possible uses of these latex protective gloves or are unsure if they are the right solution for your requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us via the contact form! The benefits of latex as a hand protection material
- Latex is an entirely natural product and incredibly elastic.
- The tactile sensation is ideal.
- It also protects against a wide range of acids and alkalis.
Latex gloves: the downsides of latex
- Harvest quantities and raw material prices have a direct effect on market prices, which can be inconsistent and volatile and fluctuating as a result.
- Latex gloves are known for triggering allergies because they contain water-soluble proteins that might irritate respiratory mucous membranes, especially in the case of the powdered disposable gloves or finger cots.
- Latex gloves can be permeated by oil and solvents and, as a result, not suitable for handling such substances.
