The properties of nitrile disposable gloves
Nitrile is a synthetic material that has a lot of the same positive properties as natural latex, but without the ingredients that cause allergies. This makes nitrile disposable gloves an excellent all-round alternative to latex. Since single-use gloves made of this material also offer powerful resistance to oils, greases and solvents and dependably protect against viruses and germs, they can be used as part of the personal protective equipment in a large number of fields and industries, including clinics and health care facilities, nursing homes for the elderly and infirm, and doctors' or dentists' surgeries, as well as in food production and processing, minor cleaning jobs, the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and in hairdressing, cosmetics and tattoo studios.Nitrile disposable gloves in material thickness: "thin"
Thanks to the thin material (0.05 mm to a maximum of 0.09 mm thick), this product boasts excellent tactile sensitivity, and the breakthrough time is higher than in an ultra-thin single-use glove or finger cot of similar material. This skin-protection product is also more durable and reliable than thinner disposables.Quality of the nitrile exam gloves
These nitrile disposable gloves from the Med-Comfort brand are of "premium" quality. AMPri only offers products of either a very consistent basic standard of quality, a more deluxe "classic" quality or superior "premium" quality. The powder-free, non-sterile, disposable glove is ambidextrous (can be used on the left or the right hand). It does not have additional length, which means it does not provide splash protection. The nitrile disposable gloves gloves are fingertip textured, meaning they have a much better grip than non-textured disposable gloves. This product features the special attribute "skin-friendly". As category III personal protective equipment as defined by the PPE Regulation ((EU) 2016/425), they protect the user from health hazards that are permanent or can lead to death. In addition, the nitrile gloves have a CE marking labelling them as a class I medical device. This classification primarily includes products that have no effect on the human body and pose minimal risk. These nitrile disposable gloves are only designated for non-sterile use. The AQL (acceptable quality limit) is the largest allowed number of faulty (leaky) individual samples in a batch or lot (performance level/AQL). For single-use medical gloves, an AQL level for impermeability that does not exceed 1.5 is required by the EN 455-1 standard - which the Nitrile examination gloves adhere to exactly. Our suggestions for how nitrile gloves should be used
Nitrile examination gloves are particularly appropriate for food containing alcohol, greasy food, acidic food, dry food and watery food and, consequently, are approved for food handling in general. Protection from microorganisms is a main characteristic of these disposable gloves. The nitrile disposable gloves protect the wearer against viruses, bacteria and fungi. Chemical protection type B indicates that the nitrile gloves offer protection against permeation in accordance with the crucial EN 374 standard. This defines the minimum penetration time for a certain number of chemicals from a list of particular test chemicals. Type A = 6 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type B = 3 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type C = 1 test chemical/10 minutes. The gloves are also airtight and waterproof. We therefore recommend nitrile disposable gloves for these sectors: occupational safety, government authorities, education, hospitals, the food industry, industry, close-contact services and other medicine. If you have any questions about the potential uses of these nitrile disposable gloves or are not sure if they are the right solution for your requirements, please feel free to contact us via the contact form!- Superior stretch: nitrile can be stretched to up to 500% of its base measurements. Thanks to its "material memory", it adapts to the shape of each individual hand.
- Nitrile has first-rate slip-proof properties, and it is stronger - and, consequently, safer - than other materials.
- Nitrile's chemical resistance facilitates a wide range of applications. It is also the ideal alternative to latex for allergy sufferers as nitrile is protein-free.
