The properties of nitrile disposable gloves
Nitrile is a synthetic material that has a lot of the same positive properties as natural latex, but without its allergens. This makes nitrile exam gloves an ideal all-round alternative to latex. Since single-use gloves made of this material also offer strong resistance to oils, greases and solvents and dependably protect against viruses and germs, they can be used as part of the personal protective equipment in a wide range of fields and industries, including clinics and health care facilities, care facilities for the elderly and infirm, and doctors' or dentists' surgeries, as well as in food production and processing, minor cleaning jobs, the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and in hairdressing, cosmetics and tattoo studios.Nitrile gloves in material thickness: "thin"
Thanks to the thin material (0.05 mm to a maximum of 0.09 mm thick), this product boasts excellent tactile sensitivity, and the breakthrough time is higher than in an ultra-thin disposable glove or finger cot of identical material. This protective product is also more durable and harder-wearing than thinner single-use products.Quality of the nitrile gloves
These nitrile examination gloves from the Eco-Plus brand are "classic" quality. AMPri only offers products of either a very consistent basic standard of quality, a more upscale "classic" quality or impressive "premium" quality. The powder-free, non-sterile, single-use glove is ambidextrous (can be worn on either hand). It is not extra-long, which means it does not offer splash protection. These disposable gloves are fingertip textured. Fingertip textured nitrile examination gloves have exceptional non-slip properties and are an ideal choice if you need to work with slippery tools or materials. As category III personal protective equipment in line with the PPE Regulation ((EU) 2016/425), they protect against health hazards that are irreversible or potentially fatal. The fact that these single-use gloves are categorised as a class I medical device means they pose minimal risk to wearers or patients, as the nitrile exam gloves have no impact on the body when worn for brief periods. These nitrile disposable gloves are only suitable for non-sterile use. The AQL (acceptable quality limit) is the maximum allowed number of faulty (leaky) individual samples in a batch or lot (performance level/AQL). For disposable medical gloves, an AQL level for impermeability not exceeding 1.5 is stipulated by the EN 455-1 standard - which the Nitrile exam gloves fulfil exactly. We recommend nitrile exam gloves for the following applications
These nitrile examination gloves are approved for handling food. They are particularly intended for food containing alcohol, greasy food, acidic food, dry food and watery food. The nitrile examination gloves provide protection from microorganisms and are therefore resistant to viruses, bacteria and fungi. Chemical protection type B signifies that the nitrile examination gloves provide protection from permeation according to the important EN 374 standard. This defines the minimum penetration time for a certain number of chemicals from a list of defined test chemicals. Type A = 6 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type B = 3 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type C = 1 test chemical/10 minutes. The gloves are also airtight and waterproof. We therefore recommend nitrile examination gloves for the following sectors: occupational safety, government authorities, education, other medicine, the food industry, close-contact services, industry and hospitals. If you have any questions about the potential uses of these nitrile examination gloves or are unsure if they are the right solution for your requirements, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us via the contact form!- Nitrile is highly flexible; it can be stretched to more than 500% of its base dimensions. One especially unique feature: nitrile has a sort of "material memory", so it adapts itself to fit the shape of the hand.
- Nitrile has first-rate slip-proof properties, and it is stronger - and, consequently, more secure - than other materials.
- Nitrile's resistance to chemicals enables a broad spectrum of applications. It is also the ideal alternative to latex for allergy sufferers because nitrile is protein-free.
