The properties of nitrile disposable gloves
Nitrile is an artificial material that has a lot of the same positive properties as natural latex, but without its allergens. This makes nitrile gloves the perfect all-round alternative to latex. Since single-use gloves made of this material also offer high resistance to oils, greases and solvents and dependably protect against viruses and germs, they can be used as part of the personal protective equipment in a wide range of fields and industries, including clinics and health care facilities, care facilities for the elderly and infirm, and doctors' or dentists' surgeries, as well as in food production and processing, minor cleaning jobs, the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and in hairdressing, cosmetics and tattoo studios.Nitrile gloves in material thickness: "thin"
Thanks to the thin material (0.05 mm to a maximum of 0.09 mm in thickness), this product boasts good tactile sensitivity, and the breakthrough time is longer than in an ultra-thin single-use glove or finger cot of the same material. This protective product is also stronger and longer-lasting than thinner disposables.Quality of the nitrile gloves
These nitrile exam gloves from the Style by Med-Comfort brand are of "premium" quality. AMPri only sells products of either a very reliable basic standard of quality, a more deluxe "classic" quality or superior "premium" quality. The powder-free, non-sterile, disposable glove is ambidextrous (can be used on either hand). It does not have additional length, which means it does not provide splash protection. These single-use gloves are fingertip textured. Fingertip textured nitrile exam gloves have exceptional non-slip properties and are perfect for working with slippery tools or materials. As category III personal protective equipment in accordance with the PPE Regulation ((EU) 2016/425), they provide protection from health hazards that are irreversible or potentially fatal. In addition, the nitrile exam gloves have a CE marking indicating that they are a class I medical device. This category primarily includes products that have no effect on the human body and pose minimal risk. The nitrile examination gloves are non-sterile; as a result, they are not intended for use in sterile applications. The AQL (acceptable quality limit) is the maximum permitted number of faulty (permeable) individual samples in a batch or lot (performance level/AQL). For disposable medical gloves, an AQL level for impermeability that does not exceed 1.5 is required by the EN 455-1 standard - which the Nitrile examination gloves adhere to precisely. We recommend nitrile disposable gloves for the following applications
These nitrile examination gloves are appropriate for handling food. They are especially intended for greasy food, acidic food, dry food and watery food. The nitrile examination gloves offer protection from microorganisms and are therefore resistant to viruses, bacteria and fungi. Chemical protection type B signifies that the nitrile disposable gloves provide protection against permeation according to the important EN 374 standard. This defines the minimum penetration time for a specific number of chemicals from a list of defined test chemicals. Type A = 6 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type B = 3 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type C = 1 test chemical/10 minutes. The gloves are also airtight and watertight. We therefore recommend nitrile examination gloves for the following sectors: industry, the food industry, government authorities, education, close-contact services, occupational safety health, other medicine and hospitals. If you have questions about the possible applications of these nitrile examination gloves or are unsure if they are the right choice for you, please feel free to reach out to us via the contact form!- In terms of stretch and tear resistance, nitrile is completely equal to natural latex. However, nitrile gains an edge with its "material memory" - it can seamlessly adapt to the contours of every individual hand.
- It offers an optimal grip and is less likely to puncture than alternative materials, so it is safer.
- Nitrile's resistance to chemicals facilitates a broad spectrum of uses. It is also an excellent alternative to latex for people with allergies because nitrile is protein-free.
