The properties of vinyl-n disposable gloves
Vitril exam gloves in material thickness: "thin"
Thanks to the thin material (0.05 mm to a maximum of 0.09 mm in thickness), this product boasts excellent tactile sensitivity, and the breakthrough time is longer than in an ultra-thin single-use glove or finger cot of the same material. This protective product is also stronger and harder-wearing than thinner disposables.Quality of the vitril gloves
These vitril protective gloves from the Med-Comfort brand are "premium" quality. AMPri exclusively sells products of either a very high basic standard of quality, a more upscale "classic" quality or superior "premium" quality. The powder-free, non-sterile, disposable glove is ambidextrous (can be worn on the left or the right hand). It is not extra-long, which means it does not offer splash protection. The Vitril gloves are also designed to protect against hazards that can lead to extremely serious consequences, such as death or permanent damage to health. Consequently, they are classified as category III PPE under the EU PPE Regulation. Medical devices are categorised in terms of the potential risk they pose to the patient. Class I encompasses products that pose little or no risk. And that is exactly the case for these vitril disposable gloves. The vitril disposable gloves are non-sterile; consequently, they are not suitable for sterile applications. The AQL (acceptable quality limit) is the maximum allowed number of faulty (permeable) individual samples in a batch or lot (performance level/AQL). For single-use medical gloves, an AQL level for impermeability that does not exceed 1.5 is prescribed in the EN 455-1 standard - which the Vitril gloves fulfil precisely. We recommend vitril exam gloves for these applications
These vitril exam gloves are appropriate for handling food. They are particularly useful for food containing alcohol, acidic food, dry food and watery food. The vitril gloves offer protection from microorganisms and are consequently resistant to viruses, bacteria and fungi. Chemical protection type B indicates that the vitril protective gloves provide protection from penetration as defined by the important EN 374 standard. This defines the minimum penetration time for a certain number of chemicals from a list of defined test chemicals. Type A = 6 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type B = 3 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type C = 1 test chemical/10 minutes. The gloves are also airtight and watertight. Consequently, we recommend vitril gloves for the following sectors: industry, close-contact services, the food industry, other medicine, hospitals, education, government authorities and occupational safety. If you have any questions about the potential applications of these vitril gloves or are wondering if they are the right choice for you, please feel free to get in touch with us via the contact form! The advantages of vinyl-n in protecting the skin
- The material known as vitril is a blend of nitrile and vinyl and is manufactured without allergenic proteins or sensitisers. It is therefore highly suitable for people with allergies.
- Vitril has excellent slip-proof properties, and it is more durable - and, consequently, more secure - than alternative materials.
- The practically odourless Vitril material shares many of the properties of nitrile. It is a hard-wearing substitute for nitrile that is very comfortable for the wearer.
