Our disposable gloves made of vinyl are partly suitable for food (without greasy food), partly resistant to chemicals, in most cases personal protective equipment category I and medical device class I.
Vinyl has good resistance to acids, alkalis and other chemicals. It also does not change due to atmospheric influences. Compared to latex, a vinyl glove is free of allergenic proteins. It is an inexpensive alternative to latex and nitrile and is recommended if the gloves have to be changed frequently. Vinyl is very soft and comfortable on the skin. However, vinyl has a lower elasticity and fit than materials such as latex or nitrile. Most vinyl gloves today do not contain the potentially harmful phthalates diethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) and diethylhexyl adipate -DEHA- (plasticisers). Vinyl gloves are particularly suitable for use in cleaning activities (without contact with concentrated chemicals), for simple care activities, for use with food (exclusively without fatty foods) as well as for conditional use in the laboratory or also for activities in the workshop, in crafts, for housework and gardening. Long vinyl gloves offer particularly good splash protection. The stretch versions of vinyl gloves have a much better fit than a conventional vinyl glove, are very elastic and very similar in colour to latex gloves.
