The properties of vinyl gloves
Vinyl disposable gloves (base material polyvinyl chloride, also PVC) are, unlike a latex glove, free of allergenic proteins and a low-priced alternative to latex and nitrile. Vinyl disposable gloves are recommended if the disposable gloves have to be changed frequently. The material can also be used when handling acids, alkalis and other low-risk substances. Vinyl also does not change under atmospheric influences. Therefore, latex gloves are suitable for simple nursing duties, for conditional use in laboratories and food areas and for cleaning work that does not involve contact with concentrated chemicals. The majority of vinyl disposable gloves today do not contain the potentially harmful phthalates diethyhexyphthalate (DEHP) and diethylhexyladipate (DEHA), i.e. plasticisers for PVC, and globally do not contain any allergenic proteins.Quality that convinces: the vinyl disposable gloves

Whether you choose our very good Basic quality, superior Classic quality or Premium quality that meets the highest standards: You can be confident that all our items will live up to your expectations. These vinyl disposable gloves are of classic quality. The unpowdered, non-sterile vinyl disposable gloves are ambidextrous. The vinyl gloves features the special characteristic "dop/dehp-free". The vinyl disposable gloves are labelled as Md class i (medical product class). We recommend vinyl gloves for the following applications
These vinyl gloves are only suitable for non-sterile applications. The vinyl gloves provide chemical protection (chemical predection type b) as defined by the EN 374 standard. According to EN 374, the minimum penetration time must not be undercut for a certain length of time and for a particular number of chemicals from a list of specified test chemicals. Type A = 6 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type B = 3 test chemicals/30 minutes, Type C = 1 test chemical/10 minutes. Additionally, the vinyl gloves are airtight and waterproof. Protection from microorganisms is a primary feature of these single-use gloves. The vinyl gloves protect the wearer against viruses, bacteria and fungi. The vinyl gloves are especially suitable for acidic, dry, and watery foods and are thus fundamentally suitable for food. We therefore recommend vinyl gloves for the following sectors: body-related services and food industry. If you have questions about the potential uses of these vinyl gloves or are unsure if they are the right solution for your requirements, please feel free to get in touch with us via the contact form!Vinyl gloves: the advantages of vinyl
- Vinyl is an excellent material for allergy sufferers because it is free from allergens and sensitising substances.
- The gentle and flattering vinyl is very comfortable to wear on the skin.
- Vinyl provides high resistance to acids, alkalis and other chemicals and therefore provides dependable protection against skin irritation (with the exception of concentrated chemicals).
The downsides of vinyl
- Vinyl disposable gloves are significantly less accurate than latex disposable gloves or nitrile gloves.
- Vinyl gloves are also not particularly supple.
- In food processing, vinyl gloves can only be used to a limited degree, as they are not approved for use with oily or greasy foods. Some vinyl gloves may be treated with plasticisers that are fat-soluble. Plasticisers, i.e. phthalates, such as DEHP diethylhexyl phthalate or DEHA diethylhexyl adipate are potentially hazardous to health.
