081309-8 SolidSafety 'Chem' chemical protection glove, Premium, in size M (green)

Properly protected against acids and other hazardous substances: the chemical protection gloves from SolidSafety in "Premium" quality are highly versatile when it comes to keeping you safe from potentially hazardous substances. These gloves are made of nitrile, meaning that they fit snugly and are also extremely durable. Gloves made from nitrile will stay impermeable to the breaking point and, consequently, will not turn porous or leak if overstretched. With their green colour, the gloves have a particularly eye-catching design and are always clearly visible. Thanks to the material they are made of, the gloves are suitable for handling the following foods: dry, greasy, acidic, watery and alcoholic foods. As you can see, these gloves are true all-rounders and can safely come into contact with many different foodstuffs in the food and catering industry, which makes them particularly practical. The coating consists entirely of polymer. In abrasion-resistance tests, reusable work safety gloves achieved level 4 - the highest possible rating as defined by the applicable DIN standard (scale from 0 to 4). This means the gloves are exceptionally abrasion-resistant. To achieve this classification, the test sample must manage to survive more than 8000 revolutions of a rotating disc covered in sandpaper. When it comes to tear resistance, the gloves can resist a tensile force of up to 10 Newtons. This product has received a rating of 1 in puncture-resistance tests in line with DIN EN 388, which indicates a lower puncture resistance. For this test, a nail is pressed onto the sample glove at differing levels of force. Gloves with a rating of 0 must have the capacity to withstand a force of 0 to 20 Newtons; for a rating of 1, that number rises to 20 to 60 Newtons.

The 'Chem' chemical protection gloves deliver significant added value because they protect the user against deadly hazards or irreversible adverse health effects, as they meet the requirements for category III personal protective equipment (PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425). Among other things, they prevent harmful substances and compounds from coming into contact with the skin and provide protection against cuts. Consequently, the gloves are in line with the European and international standards EN 388, EN 374, EN 407, EN 511, EN 420 and ISO 21420.
