Properly protected against acids and other chemicals: the chemical protection gloves from SolidSafety in "Premium" quality are real all-rounders when it comes to keeping you safe from potentially hazardous substances. The material is butyl/viton. Butyl is is known for being extremely durable and is used for handling chemicals. Gloves made of butyl protect the skin from a wide range of substances, making them an essential occupational safety tool, particularly in laboratories and in pharmaceutical work. With their black colouring, the gloves are discreet enough to use anywhere. In abrasion-resistance tests, the protective gloves were rated level 3 (scale from 0 to 4) in accordance with DIN EN 388, meaning that they are considered very abrasion-resistant. In terms of tear resistance, the gloves achieved a rating of 1 (the scale ranges from 0 to 4). For a rating of 1, the gloves need to be able to withstand a tensile force of 10 Newtons or more during the testing procedure. The protective gloves have a level 1 in puncture-resistence testing.
