081305-10 Work safety gloves from SolidSafety in black (size XL)
Well protected against acids and other hazardous materials: the chemical protection gloves from SolidSafety in "Premium" quality are truly versatile when it comes to keeping you safe from potentially dangerous materials. Butyl/viton was used to produce these gloves. This material is characterised by its extreme durability, and as a result, work gloves made of butyl are frequently used in laboratories or other areas where where chemical handling is part of the job. With their black colouring, the gloves are subtle enough to use anywhere. The gloves achieved a very good protection rating of level 3 (scale from 0 to 4) in abrasion-resistance tests, meaning that they are particularly hard-wearing. For testing in accordance with DIN EN 388, the gloves have to be subjected to a rotating disc covered with emery paper. Protection class 2 has to make it through 500 to 2000 revolutions, protection class 3 between 2000 and 8000 revolutions. In the tear-resistance test, the product scored a 1 (on a scale of 0 to 4). The protective gloves have a level 1 in puncture-resistence testing. In concrete terms, this means that the gloves can resist a nail trying to pierce through the material with an applied force of between 20 and 60 Newtons.Tested for improved safety: Reusable safety gloves that comply with EN 388, EN 374, EN 407, EN 511, EN 420 and ISO 21420.
