Girls & Boys Day 2023

The 11- to 14-year-olds started with a welcome and getting-to-know-you session led by our human resources officer Madelene Müller, who is also in charge of the trainees' application management. Afterwards, there was a guided tour of the warehouse by our warehouse manager, who is always in a good mood. Here, the first exciting tasks concerning the warehouse system were already waiting for the young interested parties. By means of a mystery box photo challenge, they got a taste of the tasks of marketing. Here we present the great results. 
Before the big joint lunch break, the motivated students visited the AMPri quality management. After a short theoretical introduction, product tests were carried out on gloves, face masks and various materials. Gloves were weighed, deviations and their significance were recorded, surgical masks were cut and their layers tested and materials such as vinyl, latex and nitrile were compared. Well fortified, they then went to the laboratory, where the girls and boys took a closer look at the different materials, especially those of the chemical protection gloves, on the tearing machine and under the microscope. The young researchers were also able to determine the different tactile sensations of thin and thick gloves with the help of dowels, Lego bricks and granules. 
 After the final feedback loop, where last questions were clarified, the children went home again.
