Social responsibility in AMPri

We, at AMPri Handelsgesellschaft mbH, are aware of the social commitment, environmental awareness, and the importance of compliance as pillars of our society. In this article, we present some of our heartfelt projects that we support with love and passion.

OUR TASK AT "MISSION EARTH e. V."

We support the association "Mission Erde e. V." We do this for good reason. Besides our health, which is strongly dependent on our environment, our habitats, it is important to protect all living beings and nature. If we lose sight of this, even the best hygiene protection won't help us. Because we coexist. One goes hand in hand with the other. Without a protected and healthy environment, we have no habitat anymore. Preserving biodiversity, actively protecting habitats, inspiring people for the beauty of nature - these are all missions that "Mission Erde e. V." is committed to. The idea for the association came from Robert Marc Lehmann. Robert Marc Lehmann is a trained marine biologist, research diver, and a multiple award-winning photographer and cameraman. The scientist and adventurer has already traveled to 120 countries and supports animal and environmental protection projects worldwide. Robert brings back photos and film footage from his adventures around the world, showing us not only the beauty of nature but also the effects of human actions and their impact on animals and their habitats - always with the intention of changing people's awareness and bringing about solutions. With the support of the association, Robert uses his skills and expertise to implement globally recognized animal and environmental protection laws. From undercover operations against illegal animal traders to school projects to supporting the marine in controlling fishing licenses off the coast of Africa. For him, the welfare of animals is always the focus of all his projects, and he goes to his limits - physically and mentally. Our common goal is to make our world a little better, greener, and to sensitize as many people as possible not to shirk their responsibility and to contribute their share to fulfill this truly great task.

AMPri Handelsgesellschaft mbH – who we are. AMPri Handelsgesellschaft mbH was founded in 1994. Initially, our business focused solely on the product group of gloves. However, due to our proximity to the market and understanding of customer requirements, expanding the product range became an exciting task for us. We think and act socially and sustainably. It is very important to us that our products are manufactured under good working conditions and with environmentally friendly technologies and materials. For this purpose, we maintain close contact with our production sites, which are regularly visited and assessed by our experienced employees and ourselves personally. We know what we are talking about and want to share this knowledge with you. Only those who are well informed can protect themselves and others. Through our involvement in standardization committees and the Federal Association for Hand Protection (BVH), we stay up-to-date on legal requirements and the implementation of laws and regulations. This ensures that you, as a user and/or customer, can be confident that the products you use or bring to market are always up-to-date and of high quality.
Today, the name AMPri is a well-established term when it comes to disposable products for the fields of occupational safety, hygiene, and care. We have been offering a nearly complete and country-specific range of over 500 different disposable products for all work and application areas to wholesalers in Europe for over 30 years. The products are used in occupational safety, the food industry, as well as in the fields of medicine, hygiene, and care. Our product range includes everything a modern company needs for daily hygiene, from gloves for every application area, head-to-toe protection, to disinfectants. We place great emphasis on quality in all price categories. The AMPri own brands reflect the know-how in every product and price group. Our aim is to offer a product in our own brand for every need at the best price-performance ratio. AMPri currently employs around 100 people worldwide and is headquartered in the industrial area Ost in Winsen/Luhe, south of Hamburg.

Our commitment extends beyond compliance with internationally recognized standards. We actively work to combat forced labor, child labor, and any form of discrimination. Human and Labor Rights

Prohibition of Forced Labor (ILO Conventions No. 29 and No. 105): We reject any form of forced labor. Our employees should offer their labor voluntarily and always have the freedom to end their employment. Any form of involuntary work, including debt bondage and human trafficking, is strictly prohibited. Freedom of Association and Right to Collective Bargaining (ILO Conventions No. 87 and No. 98): We respect the right of all employees to organize freely , join unions, or choose another form of employee representation. We support the right to collective bargaining to improve working conditions and foster relationships between employers and employees. Elimination of Child Labor (ILO Conventions No. 138 and No. 182): Child labor is not tolerated in our company. We ensure that no persons under the legal minimum age are employed and support initiatives for the education and development of children to secure their future prospects. Prohibition of Discrimination in Employment and Occupation (ILO Conventions No. 100 and No. 111): We are committed to preventing any form of discrimination. All employees are treated equally, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, political opinion, or social origin. Our goal is a diverse and inclusive work environment that promotes fairness and respect. Working Conditions: Furthermore, we are committed to appropriate working conditions. We ensure that the work environment is safe and healthy and support measures for the physical and mental health of our employees. This includes compliance with legal working hours and ensuring adequate wages that at least meet the legal minimum wage requirements. Compliance with ILO core labor standards is an essential part of our corporate philosophy. We expect the same level of respect for these standards from our business partners and suppliers and continuously work to ensure compliance with these standards throughout our supply chain.
