Under-gloves or tricot gloves are worn under the actual protective glove to reduce perspiration, minimise skin irritation and improve wearing comfort. Tricot gloves are also used as product protection, for example to avoid fingerprints on products.
The key advantage of under-gloves is that they absorb the moisture produced on the palms. The hands remain dry for longer, so that the negative effects of wearing gloves due to the moist environment are significantly reduced. Undershielding gloves are used particularly frequently for general care activities, washing or cleaning work, to bridge a longer period of time in disposable or reusable gloves without sweaty hands.
