As a semi-crystalline and non-polar thermoplastic, polyethylene (PE) is mainly used in work areas that do not contain hazardous substances. These include kitchens and sales floors, food retail (at bakeries or deli counters), at beauty counters and in care facilities. PE disposable gloves are also used as washing gloves by hairdressers and in veterinary practices. The material, which is actually colourless to milky-white, can be dyed to any desired colour during manufacturing. There are two types of PE: low-density PE (LDPE), which is soft, particularly elastic and resistant at temperatures ranging from -50 degrees Celsius to +60 degrees Celsius, and high-density PE (HDPE), which is stiffer but also more abrasion-resistant and which remains resistant at a temperature range of -50 degrees Celsius to +90 degrees Celsius.PE disposable gloves in material thickness: "ultra thin"
