Heat protection gloves are always necessary to protect the hands when working with warm to hot materials/products in order to protect the skin from burns and injuries. They primarily protect against radiation (ambient heat) and contact heat. The requirements for a heat protection glove are regulated in the EN 407 standard. In order to be able to select and use the right product, a hazard analysis of the workplace is recommended.
