The protective glove as a shield! Chemical gloves protect against damage to health or injury. The likelihood of injury or damage is not small; because chemicals at the workplace are almost part of normality in workshops or production plants these days. Many hazardous substances can be seen from the outside to be dangerous. For example, toxic substances are marked with a "skull and crossbones" or corrosive substances with the pictogram of the test tube. The range of different chemical protective gloves is diverse, but not every protective glove is suitable for every purpose and there is also no "one" chemical protective glove that is suitable for all activities with all chemicals.
AMPri offers you protective gloves with chemical protection of different type classes.
Chemical protective gloves are tested against up to 18 reference chemicals and can reach different performance levels. Depending on the result, a distinction is made between three types:
- Type A: at least performance level 2 against at least six test chemicals from the list of 18 chemicals.
- Type B: at least performance level 2 against at least three test chemicals from the list of 18 chemicals.
- Type C: at least performance level 1 against at least one test chemical from the list of 18 chemicals.
- Level 1 > 10 minutes
- Level 2 > 30 minutes
- Level 3 > 60 minutes
- Level 4 > 120 minutes
- Level 5 > 240 minutes
- Level 6 > 480 minutes
