081105-11 Work safety gloves from SolidSafety in grey/blue (size XXL)

You're only distracted for a moment, but it's enough to injure yourself. Luckily, this won't happen when you're wearing the 'Cut' cut protection gloves from SolidSafety. These gloves in "Classic" quality dependably protect your hands from cuts and more severe wounds. The gloves are made of HPPE. As a result of its very smooth surface, HPPE has cut-resistant properties and is extremely tear-resistant. It is also a cooling material, which is a major advantage, particularly when worn for long periods of time. The colour of the gloves (grey/blue) is subtle and timeless, so they are ideal for use in any setting. Polyurethane was used as a coating material. The selling point of polyurethane is that it can be applied very thinly, which facilitates delicate work and a good grip. It is also sturdy and long-lasting. Quickly put on and take off the cut protection gloves thanks to the practical knitted cuff. The cut protection gloves were subjected to abrasion-resistance testing and were rated level 3, which means the product is considered very abrasion-resistant. By way of comparison: level 2 in this test must withstand up to 1999 revolutions of a rotating disc covered with sandpaper. Gloves classified as level 3 have to make it through up to 7999 revolutions. In terms of tear resistance, the gloves achieved a rating of 4 (the scale ranges from 0 to 4). For a rating of 1, the gloves need to be able to resist a tensile force of 10 Newtons or more during the testing procedure. The reusable work safety gloves received a rating of 2 in DIN EN 388 puncture-resistance tests, so the material has the capability to resist a sharp or pointed object like a carpenter's nail.

As defined by the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Regulation, the gloves are classified as category II and protect the wearer against moderate hazards. Consequently, the gloves are in compliance with the European and international standards EN 388, EN 420 and ISO 21420. The gloves are treated with the Sanitized® hygiene function, meaning that they are permanently hygienic; the treatment also increases the service life of the gloves. With these features, they are suitable for the following sectors: industry, close-contact services, education, government authorities and occupational safety.
